As per the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) guideline every institution has to establish its own Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) To maintain the quality of the institution. The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is a quality sustenance and enhancement initiative in educational Institutions. It focuses on continuous improvement, quality benchmarks and feedback mechanisms. IQAC ensures academic integrity, transparency and accountability aiding institutions in achieving and maintaining excellence in teaching, learning and research with these objectives the IQAC of the Bongaigaon B.Ed College is constituted in the year 1990. The
IQAC is reconstituted in the year 2024 with the following members.

Objectives of IQAC
1. To develop a system of conscious, consistent and catalytic action to improve the
academic and administrative performance of the institution.
2. To promote measures for institutional functioning towards quality enhancement
through internalization of quality culture and institutionalization of best practice.

Strategies
IQAC shall evolve mechanism and procedures for
1. Ensuring timely, efficient and progressive performance of academic, administrative and financial task.
2. Relevant and quality academic research programme.
3. Equitable access to and affordability of academic programme for various section of society.
4. Optimization and integration of modern methods of teaching and learning.
5. The credibility of assessment and evaluation process.
6. Ensuring the adequacy, maintenance and proper allocation of support structure and service.
7. Sharing of research findings and networking with other institutions in India and aboard.

Function of IQAC
1. Application and development of quality benchmarks.
2. Parameters for various academic and administrative activities of the institution.
3. Facilitating the creation of a learner
